Anyone who knows me can describe me in one word: Organized! I am one of those people who got the organizing gene. Even as a child, I loved organizing anything and everything from Barbie’s accessories to color arranging my magic markers.  I simply found clutter to be annoying.  And in case you are wondering, yup I was the kid in college with the neat room.

The AHA moment was realizing that a clean organized space helped me think more clearly and made me feel calm. Having a designated home for all my belongings made it easy for me to both find things and put them away. The added benefit was fashioning a beautiful space that made me happy.  Creating order and clarity became a way of life for me.

Earlier in my professional career, I was a senior retail executive for Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, and Bloomingdales.  My natural organizing abilities played a big part in my success as a fashion retailer; problem solving, editing, classifying items, spatial reasoning, and creating inviting spaces. When I left my retail career, I turned my focus to home organizing and founded Let's Get It Done!  I am grateful for my retail background for it has shaped my fashion aesthetic and informs who I am as a professional home organizer today.

Every morning, I am excited to get up and share my love of all things organized with my clients.  It is an amazing experience to see my clients smile when they walk into a room they haven't been able to use or open a closet and be able to see what they own. Having my clients go from being overwhelmed at the beginning of the organizing process to feeling empowered at the end is the reason why I love doing what I do.
