It's easy to feel anxious and overwhelmed theses days. Routines have been disrupted. Staying home and hunkering down have become the new norm.
If you are looking for ways to help manage stress and anxiety, do what I do: tackle an organizing project. (What else would you expect a professional organizer to say?)
Organizing is truly a great stress reliever. For when you take control of your stuff, you will feel an inner calm and feel more in control of your life in general.
Here are some ideas to get you started.
✅Organize your party supplies.
✅Gather up your old newspapers and magazines for recycling.
✅Sort through your plastic containers. Do they all have matching lids? If not, time to recycle.
✅Purge your closet. If you haven’t worn an item all winter, it might be ready for the donation pile.
✅Clean out your medicine cabinet of expired medications.
✅Same can be said for your pantry. Those expired items are taking up precious space
✅Sort your sheets. Bundle flat and fitted sheets together with matching pillow cases.
✅Pack up the winter boots. If your kids have outgrown them, time to donate.
However, you choose to cope with these unsettling times, may you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy.
